Alan Đurić

Mr. Alan Duric is the Founder of Wire Swiss GmbH and serves as its Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Duric co-founded Telio Holding ASA (now NextGenTel Holding ASA) in 2004 and served as its Chief Technology Officer until January 1, 2013. He served as Interim Chief Executive Officer of NextGenTel Holding ASA from January 11, 2007 to April 2007. He was an early pioneer of VoIP and has almost a decade of experience in VoIP and active contributions through his development and standardization work as a Co-author and/or Contributor to a number of IETF, ETSI and ITU standards.

Beside his standardization work, as a Developer and Senior Systems Architect at Ericsson, He served in the early deployment and development of some of the largest VoIP networks such as Deltathree. At Global IP Sound, Mr. Duric was Senior Systems Architect, where he steered standardization efforts and was responsible for iLBC (internet Low Bitrate Codec), an IETF and CableLabs standard codec for VoIP.

He serves as a Director of Sipfoundry.org. Mr. Duric serves as a Member of Advisory Board at XTEN. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board of Kayote Networks, Inc. and CounterPath Corporation. He served as a Member of Advisory Board of XConnect Global Networks Ltd. Mr. Duric is often a Speaker at industry conferences and workshops.
