Marc Edwards

Marc has spent the majority of his 25-year career in technology in end-user organisations. Previously Global Head of Architecture for the HJ Heinz Company, and technology lead at Barclays Bank, he now leads the Enterprise Architecture team at Prolifics in the UK. Marc has worked in consulting roles since 2013, with most of that time spent working with IBM and Prolifics.

Due to his background in technology in business, Marc is a client-focused senior architect who always approaches a problem from a business perspective. His area of technical expertise is in applications and infrastructure design, middleware, and end-to-end solutions architecture design. From a business point-of-view, Marc has specific skills in supply chain, retail, oil and gas, and financial services.

Marc has led the Open Banking and PSD2 initiatives at Prolifics, working in partnership with IBM in developing and marketing a cloud-based Open Banking sandbox solution. Working closely with clients, Marc has overseen the implementation of the sandbox into large UK banks and is currently leading an IBM team delivering a full production PSD2 solution into a well-known UK bank.
